Lasher Center for Business and Entrepreneurial Studies
The Lasher Center for Business and Entrepreneurial Studies allows Berkeley students to participate in meaningful financial education. Opportunities include:
- Finance Classes: these include a Fundamentals of Business, Accounting, and Financial Math course for Upper Division students, a personal finance elective for Middle Division students, and financial education during freshman seminar
- The Lasher Business Institute: an intensive, one-year elective program within our Center for Advanced Experiential Learning that focuses on providing Berkeley juniors and seniors substantive, relevant, and integrative instructional experiences in business fundamentals, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship
- Buc Ventures Investments, LLC: our student investment fund aimed at supporting alumni startups in the form of physical and intellectual capital, while also providing Berkeley business students experiential learning opportunities as they help determine which enterprises receive funding
By promoting a dynamic, schoolwide learning culture that prioritizes financial intelligence, Berkeley empowers students with the confidence, wisdom, and knowledge needed to make smart money decisions.
